I oriented windows to optimize natural light except in science labs, where I made the windows smaller to afford a controlled lighting environment, and for uniformity of the facade, depending on the exterior conditions.  I oriented part of the building to sit parallel to the adjacent street, and the other part of the building parallel to it, which gives the edifice its unique, deconstructed look.
